Employment Opportunities


We encourage students who are interested in a hands-on experience and exposure to a fast-paced nonprofit organization to consider an internship position with Sports Legacy Institute.  If you are a positive, energetic, and multi-task oriented person, we would love to hear from you.  The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a desire to learn the ropes of the nonprofit world.

Training received during your internship will be for your own benefit and will be under the close supervision of SLI employees.  Such training may include, by way of example, market research, administrative tasks, drafting correspondence, and coordination of event logistics.

All internships require a minimal commitment of 2 days per week (16 hours).

A SLI Internship is an unpaid educational experience, therefore we encourage students to earn credit for their internship and are willing to design a program to meet your college credit requirements.  Interns are not necessarily entitled to a job at the conclusion of the internship and SLI holds out no promise of future employment.

Internships are available during:

  • Fall Semester:  August 20th – December 15th
  • Winter:  December 15th – January 20th
  • Spring Semester:  January 20th – May 15th
  • Summer: May 15th – August 20th
